A few very nice PRs today. I military pressed a 245b axle pretty easily (just missed the lockout with 265), I hit a double push press with a 305 axle from the floor, and I hit a 275 seated military press (just missed 295). It seems all this pressing and the extra calories are paying off.

I really need to get better at using straps while suited, the axle was flying up but the straps would always slip at the top. I never got more than 2 reps without losing my grip. Normally I wouldn’t even train axle with straps but we are allowed to use them in the medley in Florida (if I go)

Hell yes! Not only did I pull 705 finally, I followed up with 735. I expect this number to continue increasing for a while as I learn my suit. 735 flew up but the lockout was a little soft. I haven’t been feeling too great the last few days. I had actually only eaten 3 meals between Friday night and my Monday night workout. I’m down about 15 pounds. Still I had an OK workout. I just worked up to some moderate singles. Mainly, I didn’t want to miss anymore workouts after the holiday break.
